The origin of REVELAMI
RI as in reuse

Sewing your passions together
She is an architect, he is a sailor, they combine their skills, abilities and passions to create the RIVELAMI brand with a sustainable soul.
SILVIA RONCHI
Milanese architect, graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan, after various experiences in architectural firms, including Matteo Thun & Parteners, she dedicated herself to freelancing.
In 2014 she changed course, choosing to apply her creativity and innate manual skills to the RIVELAMI® brand she founded, to create long-lasting, aesthetically beautiful objects that keep stories of the sea
DARIO NOSEDA
wind and water are his elements, of lake origin, in 2017 he decided to broaden his horizon by crossing the Atlantic Ocean alone aboard a 6.90 meter boat , the Star which he prepared for the undertaking. The sails "speak" to him, which is why he is the sail hunter for Rivelami and keeper of the large archive and warehouse
The second life of sails
Recovered throughout Italy from boats of all types, from the very small Optimists to Superyachts, with their very different fabrics and the marks left by the salt and the wind, they tell stories of the sea.
The use of used sails is a precious opportunity to recover a large quantity of materials composed of synthetic fibres, extending their life cycle and significantly reducing the impact on the environment
WHAT
With the fabric recovered from the sails we produce bags, accessories and household items. The different materials allow us to satisfy different usage and creative needs.
WHEN
It's always the right time to be sustainable. Choosing a product made with sails is a conscious choice and if you haven't done it yet, now is the right time
WHERE
The brand was born on the shores of Lake Como, in Mandello del Lario where the sound of the sails can be heard from the shore. Since 2020 our horizon has opened up to the sea, now the activity is in Liguria, in the province of La Spezia where the sails snap between the 5 Terre and the Gulf of Poets, letting the gaze travel towards the open sea
WHY
We see a hand-made future that does not waste the resources we have. We believe in the power of reuse to create useful and unexpectedly beautiful objects
